[BARBARA GORDON]

BARBARA "BATGIRL" GORDON

while not currently affiliated with the batman, barbara is the niece and adopted daughter of police commissioner jim gordon. her parents were killed in a drunk driving accident a little while ago, her father the culprit responsible for killing himself and her mother, but the details have thus far been kept from her. she has since moved to gotham city and been enrolled in brentwood academy, studying martial arts and gymnastics to keep herself fit. why? because unknown to her new father, she has become the batgirl, a vigilante who has taken up the bat symbol and decided that gotham needs a hand in keeping its streets clean since many of the police officers don't seem to care anymore. and since nobody has seen the batman in the weeks since harvey dent's death, she fears he might never return after the way they've been hunting him. she's just a rumour as of yet, but people are beginning to talk. and the hard part right now is keeping this all from her father. everything is open, so plot her up!

LOIS LANE

she's an army brat who ended up working for one of the greatest publications in all of metropolis, and she's sitting on the story of the century without the ability to share it. needless to say, she currently finds herself in a bit of a pickle over what to do with this information, especially since she feels deeply for the man in question. still based on metropolis, lois is continuing to work for the daily planet and is slowly watching the city put itself to rights again after general zod made his presence known and threatened the existence of the entire world. as of right now there are a great many things that can be done in terms of plotting with miss lane, and i'd love to explore as many avenues of this as i possibly can. so hit her up with your thoughts and let's see where we go.

Wally and Barbara
Heroes of Gotham unite.... well technically Wally isn't a hero of Gotham but he lives in Gotham right now and he wouldn't stand by if somebody was in trouble so they may meet that way and she may have heard of him and of the flash before so yeah. I think they could/should become friends.

Selina and Barbara

I feel this relationship is going to be horribly complicated. I can't imagine Selina and Babs crossing paths much out of costume, but as the Bat and Cat I'm sure things will get interesting. Catwoman is fairly new to Gotham, and not exactly like the other criminals in the city. Sure, she steals, but her crimes are typically very calculated, and she largely targets the elite and 'infamous'. Large scale targets with big payouts. Her criminal activity is known; the unknown is the attention she's been paying to the slums of the East End. She's sick of the way the city turns its back on those who need it the most. She's tired of people forced to live life like hers. The city doesn't know much about those actions, but Barbara is one of the few who'll see it first hand which may give her a different outlook on Selina

Selina and Lois

I'm not entirely sure, but it could be interesting if Lois was trying to doing so expose on the problems of Gotham City. Selina's not the type who's likely to talk to the press, but if Lois found her I could see her getting annoyed by the woman's persistence and just giving her a lead about the corruption in the police force or something. I also thought it could be interesting if the underworld was aware that Harvey Dent had killed those people the day he died, she can hint at the secret to Lois

BARBARA && WALLY
I'm in agreement that these two need to meet! And I definitely think that they need to meet in a few different circumstances...in and out of costume being the most important two. Even if we were to have a thing where Babs was saved by the Flash and then ran into Wally, I think that would be a pretty epic thread to get them acquainted. But yes, friends!

BARBARA && SELINA
I'm thinking that once the two of them meet in costume, there will be a moment where Barbara views her as a villain that she needs to take down....and then something else happens that will make her reconsider. But you're certainly right that it will be a lot of complicated aspects to the relationship that they will come to share, and once/if she ever gets taken in by Bruce then things will get even worse.

LOIS && SELINA
That's how Lois is going to start out until we get more DC Universe characters that extend beyond Gotham. I'm going to place her in the city to do a number of pieces about the underworld and varying aspects of the social hierarchy and how bad life has become in the crumbling city. I think she'd see Catwoman as a rather fascinating character who stalks the streets at night for a less selfish mission, and that might prompt her to try and follow her in the hopes of seeing her in action.
